Arrived!!

Well, it's a rainy night in Paris but still beautiful! We are so happy to be here, and our little apartment is perfect. This picture was taken out of our living room window and just behind the giant tree in the picture is the Eiffel Tower - you'll just have to take my word for it! Because of the rain (and over-tired but super hyper children) we sent Jeff out foraging for our bedtime snack. I have to give him huge credit for the delicious red wine, stinky cheese, fresh baguette and perfect blueberries! What a perfect first meal in Paris...
The flights were great, aside from the fact that I think I slept a grand total of 7 minutes. I looked around at the other sleeping members of my family and was thankful that there would be at least one adult with a fully functioning brain upon arrival. Surprisingly enough my brain is still working! Thank goodness I take a lot of omega-3's!
British Airways was great, Chloe was beyond excited to get the little pack with the socks, eye mask, blanket and toothbrush. She felt we were first class and we were only among the regular folks! It was almost more exciting than the taxi ride to the airport - she was so pumped to be riding in a car 'in Canada' without a carseat! Both kids slept great on the plane, I, on the other hand, watched 3 chick flicks to pass the time. None of them will win Oscars but it saved me from renting them!
So, the rain has slowed down and we are going to go for a bedtime stroll. I can't believe we are all still awake right now! Beautiful, beautiful.... Bon nuit!
