Only 2.5 hours until the taxi picks us up and we are off! I am actually amazed at how much stuff you can fit into 4 rolling carry-on bags, we even have a little room to spare! It is a nice feeling to know that we can just walk off the plane and go, instead of standing around the irritating baggage carousel. I have spent the day doing all the little things that seem to pile up at the end - like returning 27 library books (all of them accounted for!) and shopping at the dollar store to find the perfect pencil case. Now in this final few hours I am going to play with my new camera to see if I can figure out how to put pictures on here while we are away.

July 22-25: Paris
July 25 - Aug 1: Cassis, France
Aug 1 - 8: Bruges, Belgium
Aug 8 - 12: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Aug 12: Depart Amsterdam for Calgary (via London)

ReplyDeletePlease, please, please go to Manneken Pis for fries in Holland. Walk away from Dam Square towards Centraal Station on the main street, it will be on your left about halfway there. Laugh at the funny name. Eat the yummy fries. Ponder moving to Amsterdam permanently.
